NOTE: Participation in the Crescent City Craft Market does not mean you are a New Orleans Craft Mafia member, nor is membership required to participate in the market.
1. All vendors must be completely set up at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each market.
2. Vendors may not break down their setup early. If you do, you will probably not be invited back to participate in future markets.
3. Vendor fees ($20 per market) must be paid in advance in order to reserve your space. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Payment can be paid via PayPal, credit card, or by mailing a check.

5. Vendor fees are non-refundable FOR ANY REASON, unless the market is cancelled by the NOCM. In the case of refunds, fees will be refunded in the original manner in which they were received. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS, EVEN FOR INCREDIBLY AWFUL LIFE EVENTS. We still have to pay for the venue rental and other expenses. Sorry.
6. The NOCM will accept a variety of vendors for the Monthly Markets, i.e., not just crafters. Some examples of other vendors we are looking for include food vendors, bands selling their CDs, comics and zines, etc. Basically, almost anything that fits in with the DIY spirit.
We are also very open to out-of-town vendors.
We will not, however, accept flea market-type vendors. This includes vendors selling vintage clothes (unless they are in some way modified by the vendor), used CDs/records, etc.
The NOCM wishes to keep this market full of vendors who do some sort of handmade/DIY products.
7. Guest Vendors agree to help promote the Monthly Market. This includes announcements in your e-mail newsletter, handing out flyers, posting a link on your website, etc.
In return, the NOCM will spotlight each month's guest vendors (who confirm and send payment by the 1st of the month) on our website and in our e-newsletter.
8. Accepted guest vendors are required to join our e-mail list that we will use to communicate with vendors and to send publicity materials. The link to subscribe, once you are accepted, is here.
9. (Added 3/11/08.) No more than two individual businesses can share a booth/table at the CCCM. Our market is very small, as is the pool of potential vendors for the market. We have to pay fees associated with the market each month and need regular participating vendors to help us do that and ensure the survival of the CCCM. |
