About the artist:
Mallory Whitfield designs recycled clothing and accessories (find them here). She has created everything from reconstructed denim skirts and cozy neckwarmers to outfits made from recycled FEMA blue tarp. One of her blue tarp creations won 3rd place in Etsy’s Upcycling Contest in 2007 and was featured on Boing Boing.
