ABOUT THE COMPANY:

art by mags! is the business name of New Orleans art-and-craftivist Margaret Coble. Merging folk, street, pop, and graphic art influences, she likes to call her work “urban folk art for the masses.” She is all about DIY printmaking and using recycled materials like vinyl records, thrift store clothing, salvaged wood, vintage board game pieces and other found objects to create one of a kind, hand-made gifts.  Clocks, signs, mixed media assemblages, art prints, clothing, cuff links, and more!

ABOUT THE OWNER:

Currently transitioning away from her former careers in music journalism, event promotion, community organizing, and DJing in nightclubs, Coble is focusing all of her energy on her art and craft pursuits. She is admittedly obsessed with spray paint and stencilling, and has a really hard time passing up interesting garbage finds on the side of the road.
